These mood boards are based on our trendbooks. Our November inspiration comes from the “TRACES” theme for spring-summer 2025.
From Seoul to Taipei, Tokyo to Hong Kong, Asia is the firing line. Having been particularly affected by the covid lockdowns, it nos seems to have definitively slammed the door in the face of austerity and opened up to wild and zany creativity.
Whimsical, even surrealistic experiments, cheeky twists to everyday situations, gadget-accessories, avatar outfits… Avid to express themselves in their own personal style, the new generations employ their own pop references to send official culture packing and live their youth to the hilt – a youth that’s not gilded, but ultracolorful! In an utter deluge of fun, allusions to the heroes and idols of music, series, cartoons or metaverse avatars transcend borders to tip the entire planet into a new world of half-DIY, halfhigh-tech eccentricity.
